Step 4: Enter Your Email Details

Enter your email address and password when prompted. The Mail app will try to automatically configure your settings, this step is usually automatic.

Step 5: Manual Configuration (If Needed)

If the Mail app is unable to automatically configure your account, you will need to enter your email server settings manually. You can obtain this information from your email provider:

  • Incoming mail server (IMAP or POP): mail.skylightning.net
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.skylightning.net
  • Port numbers: SMTP uses port 465 in most cases, if this fails, use port 587. Imap uses port 993. Both require SSL/TLS

Step 6: Choose Sync Options

Once your account is added, you will be asked to choose what to sync with your account. You can choose to sync your email, calendar, and contacts, depending on what your email provider offers. Select your preferred options and click Done.

Step 7: Start Using Your Email

After successfully adding your account, you can start using the Mail app to send and receive emails. The app will automatically sync with your email account, and you'll receive notifications for new emails.
