About Traceroute

Traceroute is a network diagnostic tool that displays the path packets take to reach a destination host. It shows each router (hop) along the way and measures the time taken for packets to reach each hop. This helps identify where delays or failures occur in the network path. Each line in the results represents a hop with its IP address, hostname (if available), and response times. Timeouts (*) indicate routers that didn't respond, which is normal for some network equipment.
